To create this year’s Valentine special, we went to our artisans in Taos New Mexico and told them we wanted something truly special. What they gave us was perfect – hand-made hearts and sweet roses made from a base of real, Cypriot rosewater. The result of this is that not only do they look fantastic – they taste exactly like real red roses as well. Rosewater has been used for medicinal and nutritional purposes for over a thousand years, and we thought it very fitting that it should be used to really enhance the presence of these lovely, sweet flowers crowning our chocolates.
